On Friday, November 19, 2021, around 9:27 p.m., a radio patrol noticed a 39-year-old man driving his moped along the sidewalk on Mannheimer Straße in the direction of Frankenthaler Straße. In doing so, the driver almost lost control of his vehicle and then turned on the road, in violation of the prohibition. During the subsequent traffic control, the driver could smell alcohol. A corresponding test showed a value of 1.03 per thousand. The man was instructed as a suspect in the criminal proceedings. A blood sample was then taken from him and his driver’s license was first secured as a preventive measure.
