Joint press release by the Frankenthal Public Prosecutor’s Office and the Rheinpfalz Police Headquarters
On the afternoon of April 25th, 2021, between 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m., a 4-year-old girl is said to have been approached and immorally touched by an unknown man in the area of the adventure playground in 67373 Dudenhofen. The man then wanted to show the child something in the adjacent forest. The mother became aware of the situation and spoke to the man. He then left the playground.
The man is described as follows:
about 40 years old, about 1.70 – 1.75 m tall, had short dark hair, very well-groomed appearance, wore jeans, brown leather shoes and a black T-shirt at the time of the crime.
Despite extensive and intensive investigations by the Frankenthal public prosecutor and the Ludwigshafen criminal police, the man has not yet been identified. Specialists from the Rhineland-Palatinate State Office of Criminal Investigation were able to create a phantom picture of the perpetrator.
