On Friday, April 16, 2021, 8:40 p.m., a 39-year-old e-scooter driver was subjected to a traffic control on Hans-Warsch-Platz in Ludwigshafen-Oggersheim.
The police check revealed that there was an open arrest warrant from the Bad Dürkheim district court against the man.
The person was also under the influence of marijuana and amphetamine, and the scooter was not currently insured. Two ecstasy pills and small amounts of amphetamine were found in a backpack that was carried along. A blood sample was taken from the man.
On the basis of the arrest warrant, he was brought to the Ludwigshafen am Rhein district court the following day. Furthermore, criminal proceedings for violations of the Narcotics and Compulsory Insurance Act and administrative offense proceedings for participating in road traffic under the influence of drugs await him.
