On Friday afternoon around 2 p.m. there was a traffic accident on a farm road between Kirchheimbolanden and the Bolanderhof. When trying to push their own breakdown vehicle, a couple loses control. The 79-year-old is caught by the rolling back car and trapped under it in the adjacent ditch. The 83-year-old remains unharmed. The 79-year-old has to be rescued by the volunteer fire brigade and is injured and flown to the hospital in Ludwigshafen by rescue helicopter.
