On October 30, 2020 around 5 p.m. there was a traffic accident in Lambsheim, Weisenheimer Straße. A small car maneuvered backwards in the parking lot of the TV Lambsheim and hit the front of a parked car. The 69-year-old driver first drove home and only reported the accident here. In the meantime, the damaged, unknown car had also been driven away. It should have been a dark car, the damage should be in the front area.
The owner of the damaged car is asked to contact the Maxdorf police station on 06237 / 934-1100.
The police point out that unauthorized removal from the scene of the accident is not a trivial offense! The fugitive driver has to expect a fine or imprisonment of up to 3 years and possibly a driving license withdrawal. In addition, the fugitive can lose the comprehensive coverage of his vehicle insurance and his insurance company may be involved in the damage caused by third parties. The police therefore advise you to report any accident to the police.
