As part of a warning strike registered by IG Metall in the course of collective bargaining, a car parade took place yesterday between 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. in the Frankenthal and Ludwigshafen area. A total of 68 IG Metall vehicles took part in the parade, accompanied by several police vehicles, including five police motorcycles. At times there were traffic obstructions and backlogs of other road users. After the car parade, a 30-minute final rally took place on the fairground in Frankenthal. The meeting proceeded without any particular incident.
