Maxdorf (ots)

On Monday, March 1st, 2021 at around 6:30 p.m., an alcoholic man was reported at a snack bar in the main street in Maxdorf who was harassing customers. When the police arrived, the 59-year-old man was about to leave on his bike. This could be prevented. Despite repeated requests, the man tried repeatedly to get on his bike. Here the man insulted the police officers and spat at them. Due to the alcoholism and the aggressive behavior, the man was declared detention. Since he refused to come, he was brought to the ground and handcuffed using simple physical force. Here he blocked himself and insulted and spit on. After the restraint, a mouth guard was put on him and a spit hood was pulled over him. He was then taken into custody by the Frankenthal police, where he sobered up overnight after a medical examination.
