1. Two cats die in an apartment fire – Dietzenbach

On Saturday, around 3:30 a.m., residents in Offenbacher Strasse in the area of ​​house numbers 20 became aware of a fire in a ground floor apartment of an apartment building. For a previously unexplained cause, there was a fire in the kitchen area, which resulted in smoke in the entire apartment. The fire brigade deployed was able to extinguish the fire quickly, but two cats in the apartment could no longer be saved. The damage to property is estimated at around 50,000 euros.

1. Seriously injured motorcyclist – Burgjoss

On Friday afternoon at 4:20 p.m., there was a traffic accident on Landesstraße 2303. A 26-year-old motorcyclist from Lower Saxony, who was on the road with two other bikers, came off the road to the right for an unexplained cause and was injured so badly that he had to be flown to the university clinic in Frankfurt in a rescue helicopter. The road between Burgjoss and Aura had to be closed at short notice. The motorcycle suffered material damage of around 3,000 euros.

2. Perpetrator surprised at burglary – Hanau-Wolfgang

When the authorized persons unlocked the front door of a single-family house in Friedrich-Fröbel-Straße in the area of ​​the house numbers at 9:30 p.m. on Saturday evening, they heard a loud bang from inside the house. The cause was probably burglars who had previously gained access to the house through a window. They were just about to search the premises for possible valuables when they were disturbed and therefore fled the house, but without loot, via the patio door.
