Woman attacked in apartment – Offenbach
By posing as a technician, a man sneaked into the apartment of a 73-year-old single woman on Mathildenstrasse on Saturday evening. The man threatened his victim with a knife, handcuffed him and searched the apartment for loot. With cash, jewelry and a mobile phone, the robber eventually left the apartment and left his victim in the bedroom. After neighbors heard the uninjured woman’s cries for help, she was freed and the police called. The alleged technician is described as a “southerner”, 25-30 years, about 160 cm tall, dressed in gray outerwear and dark trousers. He is said to have continued to wear a hat, scarf and medical mask.
A second perpetrator may have been involved in the attack. This is said to have been outside the apartment. No information is available about him. The criminal police on 069 – 8098 1234 and any other police station receive information.
