1. Right of way disregarded – Offenbach
On the early Saturday evening at 5:30 p.m., a traffic accident occurred at the junction between Kaiserleistraße and Goethering, which resulted in two slightly injured people and vehicle damage of 10,000 euros. Since the traffic light system there was not in operation, traffic there is regulated by corresponding traffic signs. A 39-year-old Seat driver from Offenbach disregarded the right of way of a 53-year-old from Frankfurt and collided with his Renault. The occupants of the Seat came to a clinic, slightly injured.
Main-Kinzig area
1. Rear-end collision – Maintal / Landstrasse 3209
Braking too late and too little distance from the vehicle in front led to an accident with four vehicles involved in an early Saturday afternoon at 12:25 p.m. on Landstrasse 3209 in the intersection area with Bischofsheimer Strasse. While a road user from Frankfurt with his BMW was waiting at the red light there and two cars behind followed and braked, an 81-year-old mini-driver from the Kaiserslautern district opened up without braking and pushed all the vehicles into one another. The lady and her companion, a 7-year-old child, were taken to a clinic for a precautionary assessment. The total damage to the car was around 16,000 euros.
2. Arson – Hanau
An empty house on the property of an abandoned quarry on Kesselstädter Strasse was the target of previously unknown perpetrators on Sunday night. They set a room on fire on the first floor. The fire spread over the roof and part of the outer facade. The fire brigade, alerted shortly after midnight, “flooded” the building over the roof. The damage caused is estimated at around 30,000 euros, and the house is classified as in danger of collapsing. The police has started investigation.
The highway police reports:

In the area of responsibility of the PP Südosthessen, only a few vehicles and people were reported that celebrated the victory of the German national team. At no time were there any traffic obstructions that would have required the police to intervene.
