Around 50,000 euros damage in the event of a fire on the carpenter’s premises – Freigericht-Somborn
(lei) A carpentry shed on Gondsrother Strasse (single-digit house numbers) was in full fire early on Tuesday morning. The fire, which broke out shortly after 3 a.m., caused damage of around 50,000 euros according to initial estimates by the police. In the approximately 15 x 5 meter construction, there was not only stored timber, but also an Opel Corsa and a trailer – all of which also fell victim to the flames. The exterior facade of the carpentry building was also sooty. Why the fire started is still unclear, the criminal police in Gelnhausen are investigating. Witnesses please call 06051 827-0.
