On Thursday, March 11th, at around 10:45 a.m. on Immelmannstrasse in Holt, the police stopped and checked a 51-year-old driver who had driven his car drunk, without a license and without insurance.
A breath alcohol test, which the 51-year-old voluntarily took on site, showed a value of more than one per mille. He also didn’t have a driver’s license because he says he never got one. A check of the license plate revealed that the 51-year-old was also driving a vehicle without insurance.
The officers took him to see a doctor who took a blood sample from the drunk so that he could legally determine whether he was alcoholic. They secured his car. The 51-year-old expects a complaint because of drunkenness in traffic, driving without a driver’s license and for violating the compulsory insurance law. (jn)
