On Wednesday there was an accident escape in the main street in Ensingen, for which the police station Vaihingen an der Enz, Tel. 07042 941-0, is still looking for witnesses. A 22-year-old Mitsubishi driver was driving down the main road from Burgweg. At the intersection with Dennefstrasse, a black Mercedes was parked on the edge of the lane against the direction of travel. While the 22-year-old drove past it, a large tractor turned right into the main street in a wide arc. The woman in the Mitsubishi avoided this and brushed against the Mercedes. The tractor driver continued his journey in the direction of Burgweg. At first the 22-year-old drove on, but returned to the scene of the accident a little later. However, the Mercedes could no longer be identified on site either. So far, the damage to property has not yet been finalized. The police especially ask the driver of the Mercedes to report. All that is known about the tractor’s handlebars is that it was supposed to have been very tall and thin.
