As previously reported, yesterday evening around 7:35 p.m. there was a fire in the ground floor apartment of a multi-storey residential building on Wolfhager Strasse.
The extinguishing work has now been completed and the Wolfhager Strasse lane has been cleared again.
According to the first investigations by the Kassel criminal police, the cause of the fire may be a technical defect.
The apartment on fire is currently uninhabitable, the property damage is estimated at around 40,000 euros.
All other residents of the house have now been able to go back to their apartments.
