An as yet unknown malfunction in a tiled stove called the fire brigades Bärenthal, Fridingen and Mühlheim, as well as the rescue service, on Wednesday evening around 9 p.m. Heavy smoke, caused by a malfunctioning tiled stove, billowed from a roof structure in Seltenbachweg. The fire brigade, which had arrived with 50 emergency services and seven vehicles, discovered an increased temperature in a wall with a thermal imaging camera. This was opened and a smaller fire behind it was extinguished. After the house was ventilated, it could be inhabited again. The stove is now being checked by a chimney sweep. There were no injuries.
