By telephone on Monday, July 26th, 2021 at around 1:50 p.m., a colorful, iridescent, diesel-smelling pollution in the area of the Obermainbrücke / Eiserner Steg was reported. This was confirmed by the boat patrol deployed. After a fire brigade’s drone overflight, the dimensions were determined to be 10 x 20 meters. Due to the insignificance, the fire brigade could not take any removal measures. The investigation into the polluter by the WSPSt Frankfurt am Main is ongoing.
