On November 18, 2021, around 3 p.m., a 30-year-old truck driver drove the B31 from Freiburg in the direction of Donaueschingen. The Polish truck was subjected to a traffic control at the Friedenweiler exit. When checking the vehicle, the police officers found that the truck was significantly overloaded. Instead of the permissible total weight of 3,500 kg, the truck had a weight of 5,500 kg. The officers forbade the driver to continue driving. Furthermore, a fine procedure was initiated against the man.
