On Friday morning, around 6:15 a.m., a 47-year-old car driver at the junction of Adolph-Kolping-Strasse / Pfauenstrasse disregarded the right of way of a 63-year-old cyclist driving towards the city center. There was a collision between the two vehicles in the junction area, during which the cyclist fell onto the lane. She injured herself not insignificantly and then had to be taken to the clinic by the DRK. A worn bicycle helmet saved the cyclist from serious injuries. Total property damage around 3000 euros.
