On Tuesday, September 8th, 2020, at 1:20 p.m., the fire brigade from Titisee-Neustadt, the DRK and the police from Neustadt were called to a fire alarm in an apartment building on Scheuerlenstrasse.
When the fire department checked the location of the fire, it quickly emerged that a resident of the house had left the food unattended on the stove, so that thick smoke developed from the burned food. The resident had to be taken to a nearby hospital with slight smoke inhalation by the DRK. The damage to property cannot be quantified at the moment.
