On August 21, 2021, around 11:55 p.m., a 21-year-old man was to be checked in the Festhallenstrasse in Löffingen. He fled on foot when the police noticed. He fell and injured himself while climbing a fence. During the subsequent arrest, he offered considerable resistance. He was hospitalized for medical treatment. The Titisee-Neustadt police station has taken over the further investigations into the cause and course of the escape.
