On 06.06.21, around 12:57 p.m., a 76-year-old car driver drove on the B31 from Donaueschingen in the direction of Freiburg. In the area of the Kreuzfelsenkurve, this came onto the opposite lane as a result of a non-adjusted speed. An oncoming motorist tried to avoid the car but did not succeed. The two vehicles collided, which resulted in minor injuries to the 45-year-old driver. The vehicles were recovered by a local tow company. The police estimate the total damage to be around 10,000 euros.
For the duration of the accident recording, the federal highway had to be closed several times in this area, which resulted in traffic obstructions.
The Titisee-Neustadt police station has started the investigation and asks any witnesses to the accident to call 07651 9336-0.
