Early on Wednesday evening (October 6th) around 6:20 p.m., a shop detective in a discount store observed a woman suspected of shoplifting via video surveillance.
The 27-year-old woman packed various items both in the shopping cart and under her apron. The 47-year-old shop detective at the grocery discounter on Altenessener Strasse observed the crime via video surveillance. After the customer had paid for the items from the shopping cart at the checkout, the detective approached her and took them to the store’s office.
There was groceries in her apron and a pair of shoes. The detective then called the police.
The 27-year-old Romanian was provisionally arrested. She has no permanent place of residence in Germany./SoKo
