45127 E.-Stadtkern: A 45-year-old guest at a pub on Viehofer Platz did not want to pay his bill on Thursday, May 14th, and then threatened two employees with a knife. Around 6 p.m., an employee of the pub wanted to collect money from the guest when the guest refused to pay his bill. The employee called a colleague to help, but even the two of them couldn’t persuade the guest to pay his bill. Instead of his wallet, the 45-year-old took a knife out of his pocket, held the blade towards the floor and shortly afterwards put the knife back in his pocket. The two employees (48, 52) were then able to persuade the man to go outside and wait in front of the bar. Then they called the police. The officers took the 45-year-old to the guard and seized the knife. He was then released after the police measures were over. / bw
