A seriously drunk driver of a car was checked on Saturday, January 9, 2021, 10:45 p.m. by officers from the Ahlhorn motorway police.
The 28-year-old from Bremen drove his BMW at the Huchting junction onto the B75 in the direction of Bremen. Even then he was noticed by the officers who were leaving the B75 at the Huchting junction at the time because of an unsafe driving style. They turned their patrol car around and followed the BMW. They registered considerable wavy lines. So there was almost a side collision when driving past the BMW. During the inspection at the Kirchhuchting junction, the 28-year-old got out and showed noticeable imbalance. A test carried out showed an alcohol level of 2.46 per mille.
The 28-year-old had to accompany the officers to an office, where a blood sample was taken from him by a doctor. The officers confiscated the man’s driver’s license. He will have to answer in court for drunk driving.
