After a semitrailer was stolen on Saturday evening (November 20th) (we reported), the truck was discovered by the police on Sunday morning (November 21st) after a witness at Neuhaus am Rennweg (Thuringia) reported. A 43-year-old man from Eastern Europe who was at the vehicle was provisionally arrested.
The investigation into the exact background of the crime is ongoing. In addition, the officials are investigating a connection to another theft of a semitrailer truck loaded with empties in the Union-Brauerei-Strasse in Groß-Gerau between Friday evening (November 12th) and Monday morning (November 15th).
