Just in time for the current changeover season for motor vehicle insurance, CHECK24 is presenting an innovation with which the motor vehicle insurance comparison is greatly simplified. Customers can significantly reduce tedious data entry with the help of a photo or PDF. For a vehicle comparison and conclusion, customers have to provide more than 50 pieces of information. A hurdle that has so far prevented many from changing.

With the newly and exclusively developed FotoCHECK from CHECK24, this manual data entry is almost completely eliminated. Customers simply take photos or scan their existing insurance policy or premium invoice and all available information is automatically adopted. FotoCHECK is an exclusive CHECK24 tool to simplify and accelerate the conclusion of a new car insurance considerably. The automated process, which was developed with the help of artificial intelligence, works on the desktop, on the mobile device and in the app.

“Instead of having to answer 50 questions manually as before, our customers can now do it with a photo. The insurance comparison and change is possible in two minutes,” says Dr. Tobias Stuber, Managing Director of Motor Insurance at CHECK24. “That can be described as a small technical revolution. The development of FotoCHECK was complex, but it is faster and easier for our customers to use.”
