The tourism brands’ Going Global “marketing event” Meet Your Shaanxi Dream, Traveling in Shaanxi “ended successfully on June 20th. The event consisted of a six-day stay of online celebrities in Shaanxi and marketing activities conducted overseas via social media for a month, combining sightseeing in Shaanxi with experiencing Shaanxi culture and folk customs. It enabled fans from all over the world to experience the vibrant, powerful culture and tourism of Shaanxi while getting to know the natural landscape, the delicacies and the history of Shaanxi.

Six online influencers from Turkey, Nigeria and South Korea were invited to pay tribute to Shaanxi’s cultural and natural tourist resources such as the Bell Tower, Qinshihuang Emperor’s Mausoleum and Hukou Waterfall in five routes including Shaanxi’s Morning Bell, the trip back to the Great Qin and a visit to Chang’an of the Tang Dynasty.

Additionally, brush calligraphy ran through the online celebrity experience, allowing fans from outside of China to see the charming traditional Chinese culture first hand. By writing with brushes, online celebrities interpreted the profound history and culture embodied in Shaanxi’s cultural tourism brands.

During the event, Shaanxi synchronously presented the exciting “Meet Your Shaanxi Dream, Traveling in Shaanxi” offline activities through photos, videos and fun interaction on overseas social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter. This event received a total of over 5.3 million views on overseas social media platforms, with relevant videos viewed over 780,000 times, making it an all-round immersive experience for fans around the world.
