The volunteers of the volunteer fire brigade Wetter (Ruhr) supported Nikolaus yesterday, who visited the children of the comrades from the fire fighting units Alt-Wetter, Grundschöttel and Esborn. Since this is the offspring of fire service members, they had naturally been good throughout the year and accordingly earned the gifts of St. Nicholas. The campaign was very well received by the parents and, of course, the children in particular. The latter once again had a pleasant contact with the fire brigade, where currently the children’s fire brigade and other activities with the children cannot take place again due to the pandemic. The volunteer fire brigade is a very family affair. If you – or someone close to you – are interested in becoming part of this camaraderie, please do not hesitate to contact us!
