First rapid antigen test, then PCR validation
In cooperation with the Institute for Microecology (www.mikrooek.de) with the participation of Prof. Dr. Andreas Schwiertz in Herborn developed a method to validate positive rapid antigen tests on the existing swab sample by means of a downstream PCR test. This saves resources, time and minimizes further infection risks by eliminating unnecessary routes and contacts that would normally be necessary to confirm the positive antigen rapid test result by means of a PCR test. Communication with people who have been tested and reports to health authorities are fully automated. Starting in February, all positive rapid test results from all stations will be automatically validated by PCR tests in less than 36 hours!
Test center in Berlin with rapid PCR and antibody tests
The Berlin location at Joachim-Karnatz-Allee 47 in the Mitte district is being developed in cooperation with the “Pregla Medical Institute” under the direction of Dr. med. Reinhard Pregla. The following test options are now available: PCR test, PCR rapid test, antibody and antigen rapid test.
PCR & antibody tests in all locations
A process and transport infrastructure is currently being implemented via a nationwide network of laboratory partners. PCR tests are now available in the test centers in Frankfurt, Darmstadt, Mainz, Wiesbaden, Paderborn, Herborn, Marburg and Gießen. Antibody and PCR tests will be offered in all stations at the beginning of February. Here lies the Rapid antibody test at 34.90EUR and the PCR test (including rapid antigen test) at 74.90EUR. In addition, all test options are also available to corporate customers outside the company.
Rapid PCR test now available in Berlin, Frankfurt and Stuttgart: result after just 20 minutes
Immediately are Rapid PCR tests with a result after only 20 minutes feasible in Berlin, Frankfurt and Stuttgart! This Rapid-PCR-Service is aimed primarily at people who cannot wait several hours for a result. For example, on short-term trips abroad with corresponding entry requirements. The rapid PCR test can now be booked for EUR 169.90. A mobile implementation outside of the test center is also possible for corporate customers and events.
