Invest responsibly and successfully
Investing savings with a clear conscience – this is what more and more people in Germany want. Above all, they want to invest their capital where it is used according to ethical, ecological and social criteria. In order for this to go smoothly, the Stiftung Warentest explains with its new guide Investing money sustainably what to look out for in sustainable financial products.
Many private investors want to know exactly where their money is going or even actively promote ethical and ecological goals. The providers of financial products have also recognized this. The number of sustainable banks, funds and ETFs is constantly growing. But the degrees of sustainability of the various funds can also vary. Keeping an overview here can be difficult.
The advisor Investing money sustainably explains what “sustainable” actually means in relation to various financial products. It describes how investors can use Finanztest’s sustainability rating to determine which product is best for them. In addition, the book does away with the prejudice that good returns can only be achieved with conventional funds.
The author Wolfgang Mulke presents banks and funds in detail, offers sample portfolios for different types of investors and life situations and explains everything important about choosing and buying sustainable funds and ETFs as well as managing your own portfolio. The functionality and risks of direct investments – for example in forests, in wind or solar parks – are also examined. The author’s specialist areas include private financial management as well as environmental and climate policy developments. As a business journalist and freelance author, he writes articles on consumer-relevant topics for various daily newspapers and magazines.
Investing money sustainably will be available in stores from May 25 for 19.90 euros. over www.test.de/nachhaltig-geldanlage it can be ordered online.
