Music entrepreneurs Bob Murray, Zack Dekkaki and Ric Wake today announced the founding of the Loki Artist Group, a modern global entertainment company with which all three of them would like to invest in the future of music as joint founders. At a time when the entertainment industry has to redefine itself, the main focus of the new company is to support music companies with financial, business and creative support in building and implementing new foundations for future success.
The Loki Artist Group starts with two recording studios (one in Los Angeles, California and one in Toronto, Canada) and the management company Elev8 Global Entertainment as well as a record label and a publishing division. The Loki Artist Group will be looking for new artists, songwriters and producers to be contracted for management, as well as new music companies to work with the artists. The company will provide Artists and Repertoire (A&R), artist development, digital advertising, social media management and marketing, and licensing and dubbing services to enable customers to connect with global brands, films, television and advertising companies through their music.
Elev8 Global Entertainment, which recently joined forces with the Loki Artist Group, has been providing comprehensive talent management for a wide variety of musicians and artists under the direction of Bob Murray since 2007. Elev8 has represented artists such as award-winning composer Yanni, international Disney star Jorge Blanco and pop / electronics producer Bruno Martini and is involved in negotiating major record deals, film and television placements, and negotiating lucrative sync licensing deals specialized in the organization and promotion of worldwide stadium tours and the production of international concert TV specials. The current repertoire includes Jorge Blanco, Jonathan Antoine, Shaun Jacobs, Anna Chase and J Broadway.
