↳ Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were relegated at the recent Platinum Weddings, according to a royal expert

A royal expert and biographer believes the recent Platinum Weddings have relegated Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to behind the Duke of Gloucester. Supposedly, the move is part of the royal’s drastic shakeup.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle returned to the UK in June to join Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations. However, they seemed to take a backseat after falling behind the other members of the Firm.

Duncan Larcombe testified to Express that the four days the Sussexes spent in the UK will forever haunt the Duke of Sussex. They (Meghan and Harry) were relegated to sitting behind the Duke of Gloucester, he said.

Other leading members of the Firm were in the front row of the Thanksgiving service at St. Paul’s Cathedral, while they were seated in the second row. In fact, Larcombe added that there were a number of things they were excluded from the weekend’s event for, though whether or not they intentionally excused themselves is anyone’s guess.

They even flew home on a private jet before the celebrations ended. Many noted that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle did not watch Trooping the Color from the Buckingham Palace balcony with Prince William and Kate Middleton.

The Cambridges, alternatively, did not join the Archewell co-founders inside St Paul’s Cathedral. A source explained to Us Weekly that only the most senior members of the royal family could sit in the front row, while non-veterans would be in the second row.

The insider added that the palace decided to place them on the opposite side of the cathedral to avoid unwanted attention following the scrutiny they came under during the 2020 Commonwealth Day Service.

It was the first time that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had returned to the UK after their last engagements as senior royals in March 2020. They returned as a family of four, with their firstborn, Archie, and their youngest daughter, Lilibet.

They have since lived in California, but the former military pilot returned to the UK alone in April 2021 for the funeral of his grandfather, Prince Philip. He returned again in July 2021 for the unveiling of the monument honoring his late mother, Princess Diana.

Ever since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped down from their senior royal roles, their relationship with Prince William and Kate Middleton has been a hot topic, according to pinkvilla. In an October 2019 interview, Prince Harry revealed that he and his siblings were on different paths before leaving his senior position, which reportedly fueled their feud.
