Preliminary Public Beta Devil 4 didn’t get off to the best start. The fears of skeptics, who warned of problems connecting to servers and long waiting times, came true. During the evening and night the situation calmed down for the most part.
Diablo 4 suffered what most online games do today. The servers are not ready for a large rush of players and they fall like overripe plums. Some take it in stride and write that they will simply wait. Others are angry. They have to wait from tens of minutes to hours to connect to the game.
“You pay money to pre-order because you want to play this Friday and through the weekend, and you’re disconnected because Blizzard is incompetent,” raves one excited player on a Blizzard forum. “Now I have to wait 2 hours to log in again, yes 2 hours… If I had known this would happen I would have never pre-ordered the game. This is completely unacceptable.”

If you encounter a longer waiting line, Blizzard recommends not leaving it, even if the countdown ends and nothing happens. It’s also rumored to be in public beta for this coming weekend more accurate timer. But the question is whether he can prepare the servers for the second onslaught, which will occur next Friday, because everyone will be able to play the Diablo 4 beta. Now it’s only for pre-orders.
By then, hopefully the various error codes and other issues will be resolved. Players report, among other things, an error message that servers are unavailable. To some the saved procedure disappears after logging in again, so also the created character, and after the opening movie, the shadows of the hero will start flashing and will end only after the completion of the prologue. This issue does not occur when the player skips a cutscene.
Blizzard he claimsthat working to improve server stability and latency.
We are aware of the issues impacting Open Beta Early Access, leading to long queue times and server disconnections.
The team is managing the rate of players entering the game until we have a full fix for the connection issues.
