Microsoft seems to be determined to do a deep clean on Windows 10 and its features. This is a process that has been going on for some time, but it seems to be picking up speed again.
After we have demonstrated that a feature of this system will soon become optional, there are more news. This time, Shake to Minimize will be removed, with no option to activate or recover it.
Features keep disappearing
It all seems to point to the fact that Microsoft is doing a big cleanup on Windows 10. In addition to tidying up all the Control Panel functions in Settings, there are more apps and options that are becoming simple options.
We saw WordPad, Paint and Notepad go this way, but there is more to be prepared to disappear from the system. The most recent to be revealed was the Snipping Tool, which in a future update should be optional.
Microsoft will remove the move to minimize
Microsoft's latest victim seems to be known to many Shake to Minimize. Removing this will already be tested in Windows 10, but still within the search giant's gates, in the form of a simple flag that will go off at any time.
We remind you that this is a simple way to manage open windows in the Microsoft operating system. Just click on a single window to shake it to minimize the rest and display the desktop.
Another major loss for Windows 10
For now, this remains an internal Microsoft test removal and without a guarantee that it will be maintained or removed. If you go your normal path, it will soon materialize and disappear from Windows 10 in a few months.
It may not be a feature that many use, but it has been in Windows for a long time. It is useful, interesting and important to many users, but apparently Microsoft seems to be ignoring all those factors.
