Yes, it is raining pretty hard in Busan right now.

Busan is about 330km from the typhoon center, but you can hear the typhoon rise as the wind blows very hard from moment to moment.

A typhoon warning went into effect in Busan from 9pm last night.

Here in Haeundae, along the coast, skyscrapers including L City are densely populated, so the tension builds whenever a typhoon strikes.

A very strong wind blows between the buildings, so there is concern about the damage caused by strong winds.

In the Busan area, high waves hit the coast during Typhoon Hinnamno earlier and many structures were damaged in the Songdo, Gwangalli and Haeundae area.

The restoration has not yet been completed, so it is feared that the damage will not recur.

Nearby residents prepared for the typhoon by shutting down most of their businesses and building sandbags because they were nervous.

The closest typhoon to Busan is expected to be around 11am today (7pm).

Korea’s Meteorological Administration has predicted heavy rainfall of 100 to 150 mm in the Busan area.

In addition, a strong wind of around 120 km / h was expected to blow momentarily.

Landslide crisis warnings in Busan, Ulsan, Gyeongbuk and Gyeongnam have also been brought to “caution”.

In order to prevent typhoon damage, the Busan Metropolitan Education Bureau decided to hold remote classes in all schools in the district today (19).

So far, this is MBC News’ Park Jun-oh from Mipo, Haeundae, Busan.
