A coast guard patrol boat is dispatched in an emergency after breaking through the waves that are hard to see.
A sea officer who finds a crew member in the midst of a rocking sea throws a safety tube and shouts urgently to a colleague.
Rescue is not easy because it is difficult to stand still due to the 4m high wave.
A storm warning is also issued in the area of the accident, and winds of 14m/h are blowing.
Upon receiving the signal that the ship was in danger, the coast guard immediately contacted the captain, but did not respond.
By the time we reached the scene of the accident, the ship had already been completely sunk.
Even in such an urgent situation, it was confirmed that all crew members wore life jackets.
In fact, all of the rescued crew members were wearing life jackets and were known to be in good health.
The Coast Guard is using security ships and aircraft to search the area around the sinking waters extensively to find missing persons.
The water temperature in the area of the accident is around 15 degrees Celsius, so the missing people wearing life jackets can survive for up to 25 hours.
127 Daeyang, a 339-ton fishing vessel, sailed from Busan’s South Port on the 19th and sank at around 3:45 pm yesterday while moving off the coast of Geoje with fish from Jeju.
