Authorities in the southern province of Zaporizhia said three people were killed and seven injured when the energy infrastructure in the region came under airstrikes.

In addition, 35 buildings in 11 areas were damaged by the airstrikes, and power outages occurred in many places.

DTEK, Ukraine’s largest private power company, said: “Due to the threat of a missile attack, emergency power outages were implemented in Kiiu and surrounding areas, southern Odessa Oblast and eastern Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.”

In the southern port city of Odessa, two energy infrastructures were damaged, Odessa city authorities said.

Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Valery Zaluznyy, claimed on Telegram that day that Russia had intercepted 47 of 55 missiles launched.

Among the missiles launched by Russia that day were Kh-47 Kinzhal hypersonic missiles, the commander-in-chief said.

Previously, the West, such as the United States and Germany, decided the day before to provide main tank support to Ukraine.

Ukraine welcomed the decision and called for more assistance, while Russia called the tank support “extremely dangerous” and said it would destroy them all.
