[스타트업 MVP②] Solve problems at your fingertips! Next-generation AI automation standard ‘Khair’

[전자신문·서울경제진흥원 공동기획] Startups that reflect the latest trends are recognized for their unique innovative ideas and competitiveness, and are receiving partnership calls from VCs and large corporations even in a frozen investment environment. In collaboration with Seoul Startup Hub, this magazine has prepared a ‘Startup MVP’ project corner that highlights startups that are emerging as global innovation icons and examines the innovativeness of these companies.

The second company is AI solution company Caire (CEO Kyo-hyuk Lee). This is a 5-year-old startup that researches and refines the concept of ‘one-click AI automation’ needed in the industrial frontier.

Their representative service, MLOps (MLOps), is a platform that implements a structure that automatically learns, verifies, distributes, and operates high-performance AI models with one click. Along with the core concept that individuals can carry out projects on their own regardless of skill level, it is possible to learn not only standardized table data but also time series data such as images and log records generated from IoT, etc., without any additional processing.

Kyo-Hyuk Lee, CEO of KAIR, said, “The goal of the MLOps solution is to enable even non-experts to carry out projects without additional support. “We completed product development last year and completed verification of the performance and functions of the product with affiliates of large domestic companies, confirming its marketability,” he said. “Without any additional processing, your own learning data can be learned by an artificial intelligence model with a single click.” “Companies are satisfied with the concept and practice of enabling them to utilize it,” he said.

Caire’s MLOps (MLOps) is attracting attention by meeting efficiency concerns across industries connected to artificial intelligence. Through comprehensive cooperation with large corporations such as Samsung, LG, Nongshim, Samyang, Kolon, DB, and Kolmar Korea, as well as public institutions such as the Korea Railroad Research Institute and the National Railroad Corporation, all industries including smart factories, social infrastructure, finance, healthcare, and national defense We are achieving results by supporting artificial intelligence in the field.

Kyo-Hyuk Lee, CEO of KAIR, said, “Artificial intelligence models do not end with learning the initial model from initial data, distributing and operating it. New data generated during the operation process has different characteristics from the initial data. “We must be able to continuously update the artificial intelligence model using new data,” he said. “Our platform not only learns the initial model with initial data, but also updates the artificial intelligence model with newly generated data with just one click.” “It can be automated,” he said.

In fact, Caire’s movement is attracting attention in that it sets a standard for ‘artificial intelligence utilization’ that is independent of the level of user or industrial data as well as technological development.

Kyo-Hyuk Lee, CEO of KAIR, said, “There are two main types of artificial intelligence technology needed in industrial settings. There are many fields that solve complex problems that require the involvement of experts, as well as fields that can solve standardized problems with simple execution. “There is no need to invest the time of artificial intelligence experts in this latter field,” he said. “Ultimately, CAIR’s vision is to establish a one-click AI automation system that can easily solve simple problems that do not require experts, and to establish it throughout the industry.” “There is,” he said.
