Pfizer vaccination starts a little later, at 9 am.

The vaccination is done at the Central Vaccination Center in the National Medical Center.

Health authorities are busy preparing vaccinations under tight security.

Today, 300 corona19 medical staff in the metropolitan area, including 199 workers at the National Medical Center, are subject to vaccination.

Administrative staff who support work, including nurses and doctors at the National Medical Center, also get the vaccine.

An official at the medical center explained that the corona19 intensive care unit environmental cleanser is expected to be the first inoculation.

Vaccinations are scheduled for each time slot, and 100 people will be vaccinated in the morning and 200 people in the afternoon.

The number of Pfizer vaccines that came into Korea yesterday was 58,000, which was secured through KOVAX Facility, an international vaccine supply project.

Immediately after arriving at the airport, the vaccine was escorted by the police and delivered to 5 vaccination centers, including Chungcheong and Yeongnam.

Pfizer vaccines, which must be stored at temperatures around -75 degrees Celsius, must be thawed and diluted before they can be inoculated.

It is reported that the National Medical Center had finalized the necessary equipment such as diluents and syringes before the first vaccination and until late yesterday.

On-site today, medical staff from vaccination centers for each region who are about to be vaccinated will also be present to observe the vaccination process and receive training.

Inoculation centers by region will be vaccinated from the 3rd of the following month.

In addition, in medical institutions with more than 120 patients and medical staff, self-inoculation can be given.

From the 8th of the following month, the 3rd week of vaccination, Pfizer vaccine will be delivered to 82 in-house vaccination agencies.

Through this process, the quarantine authorities plan to complete the first vaccination by the 20th of the following month and the second vaccination around April 10th, three weeks later.

By the end of next month, 500,000 of the 10 million Pfizer vaccines signed by the government are expected to come in.

The full-fledged Pfizer vaccination is expected to begin around April.
