The Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention are planning to invest 900 billion won to provide support to medical institutions affected by Corona 19 or to households in crisis who are experiencing difficulties in living.
First of all, the government decided to significantly expand screening clinics and invested KRW 125.3 billion in support for diagnostic tests, of which KRW 25.5 billion was paid before the establishment.
In addition, we decided to provide KRW 24.3 billion to put 5,000 medical personnel in facilities that need emergency response to Corona 19, and to pay 14.1 billion KRW in labor costs, such as additional allowances, to nurses at existing medical institutions who were inferior to dispatched nurses.
In addition, KRW 400 billion is provided to medical institutions, pharmacies, and general workplaces that have suffered damage due to closure and disinfection due to Corona 19, and KRW 92 billion is provided for emergency welfare to 60,000 low-income households who have lost their jobs or whose income has decreased.
