[사회]Coupang distribution center worker’s industrial accident approval

Mr. A, a worker in his twenties who died while working at the Coupang Distribution Center in Chilgok, Gyeongbuk, was approved for an industrial accident.

The Korea Labor Welfare Corporation announced that the Occupational Disease Determination Committee recognized the work-relatedness of Mr. A’s death and approved it as an industrial accident.

A is a daily worker at the Coupang Logistics Center. He was found dead on October 12 last year, and his family members filed an industrial accident request with the Labor Welfare Corporation, claiming that heavy work burdens such as night shifts were the cause of his death.
