[기상센터][날씨] ‘Ipchun’ strong cold in the morning, Seoul -9.4℃… Heavy snow on the way home

Today is the season’Ipchun’ that marks the beginning of spring.

But it would be difficult to expect warm spring news.

This morning, the temperature in Seoul was 9.4 degrees below zero, and it was colder than in winter at this time of year.

On the way home from work, heavy snow is also an emergency.

Starting with the metropolitan area, it will snow down and continue throughout the country until dawn tomorrow.

In particular, heavy snow preliminary warnings have been issued in central and northern regions such as Seoul, where a lot of snow is expected, and northern Chungcheongbuk-do.

A lot of snow, up to 15cm in eastern Gyeonggi and Gangwon-do, and up to 10cm in Seoul, western Gyeonggi, and northern Chungbuk, will accumulate.

This morning, the temperature at Hyangrobong Peak in Inje-gun, Gangwon-do dropped to 19.8 degrees below zero.

A strong cold continued in areas where cold weather warnings were issued, such as 14.6 degrees below zero in Cheorwon and 13.7 degrees below zero in Paju.

From the daytime, the usual temperatures will recover and the cold will ease.

The daytime temperature in Seoul will be 2 degrees Celsius, Daejeon 4 degrees, and Gwangju and Busan 6 degrees 4~5 degrees higher than yesterday.

After this snow stops, sunny and mild winter weather is expected to continue for the time being.

The snow that started today on my way home from work in the central region will pour out for about 1 to 2 hours after 9 pm.
