Is the WHO investigation team continuing to investigate over the weekend?

Yes, yesterday, Saturday, I visited Jin Intan Hospital in Wuhan, which treated many corona19 patients in the early days of the outbreak.

Jin Intan Hospital is a hospital specializing in infectious diseases and was designated by China as an intensive hospital for COVID-19 treatment a year ago.

Zoologist Peter Dajak, who is from the United States and is participating in the expert team, wrote on Twitter that he visited Jin Intan Hospital and met with medical staff who fought Corona 19 in the early days of the outbreak.

Marion Koufmans, a virus expert from the Netherlands, also tweeted immediately after visiting Jin Intan Hospital, saying it was similar to what he had heard in the intensive care unit.

While the schedule of the expert team has not been disclosed, the content is flowing through Twitter of some participating scientists.

Foreign media said yesterday on Saturday that WHO experts also visited an exhibition hall created to promote Wuhan’s process of overcoming Corona 19.

In addition to Jinintan Hospital, experts will also visit Huanan Fish Market and Wuhan Virus Research Institute, which are the early outbreak sites.

When will the research process or the interim results of the study be released?

[기자]

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Li Zhen said on Friday that the results of the expert team’s research will be publicly announced at an appropriate time.

However, it didn’t mention specific timing.

Probably, the meaningful results are expected to come only after the expert team leaves China.

A spokesman for Zaorizen in particular drew a line that the team’s activities are part of an international study of the origins of COVID-19, not an investigation.

The World Health Organization, which hosted this expert team’s visit, has not disclosed the timing of the research results.

In addition, they are not aware of the specific schedule of the field investigation.

It also revealed that the survey team would not be in contact with the community as they traveled by bus and would only meet with people prepared as part of the study.

World Health Organization emergency response chief Michael Ryan says the task at this stage is to collect data and to figure out what more research is needed to find its origin.
