Last week, a Russian diplomat who was working in North Korea pushed a cart and passed the Tuman River iron bridge to return home.
With all the borders closed, the recently appointed North Korean ambassador to China, Li Ryong-nam, is also expected to take office by land.

A large wagon full of luggage runs over the railroad tracks.
These are Russian diplomats and families returning home from Pyongyang.
When North Korea closed its borders to combat Corona 19, a hand-push cart appeared.
North Korea bans aircraft and motorized trains from crossing the border.
The Russian Foreign Ministry says it took 34 hours for diplomats and their families to get to the border from Pyongyang.
The last one kilometer from the Tuman River iron bridge crossed the border on foot while pushing a cart by hand.
The diplomat’s 3-year-old daughter was also sitting in a wagon without a windshield, wearing thick clothes.
The Washington Post described it as a surreal journey that reminds me of old movies.
Ambassador Li Ryong-nam, whose appointment was announced on the 19th, is also more likely to enter China by land.
This is the route from Pyongyang to Sinuiju, passing through the Yalu River Railway Bridge and entering Dandong, China.
Even if I arrive in Dandong, I have to be quarantined for about three weeks, so I think it will be possible to leave Beijing around April.
It is difficult to predict the timing of Wang Yajun’s appointment to Pyongyang, which is said to have been appointed by China as the new ambassador to North Korea.
This is because North Korea is thoroughly preventing the inflow of people and goods, including diplomats.
However, it is expected that both sides of North Korea and China will come up with specific procedures as lines can be changed at the same time.
