AstraZeneca introduced the vaccine developed by its company that the immunity effect increased by up to 80% when administered twice at three-month intervals.
In a press conference held shortly after British health officials approved the emergency use of the AstraZeneca vaccine, the company said:
He explained that only 22 days after the vaccine was given, the partial immune effect would appear and last at least 3 months.
The company also says the vaccine has been approved for use in people 18 years of age and older, and that it could be vaccinated by pregnant or mothers with greater potential benefits.
However, he admitted that the reason why the immunity efficacy varies depending on the dosage is not fully proven.
Earlier, the AstraZeneca vaccine showed an average immune effect of 70.4% during clinical trials.
However, in the course of the trial, if by mistake the first dose was administered half the dose and the second dose was the full dose, the preventive effect increased to 90%.
