If you go to the mart these days, there aren’t any items that don’t go up in price, including fruits, vegetables and meat.

According to an analysis, it costs more than 10% more than last year’s Lunar New Year’s turn to set up this year.

Reporter Gye Hoon-hee reports.

Gold eggs, golden apples, and golden onions are no longer familiar.

Not only the price of eggs, but also fruits and vegetables such as apples and pears, the price of the dining table on the table continues to rise.

Given this situation, it was investigated that with the Lunar New Year coming three weeks ahead, the cost burden increased during the Lunar New Year’s turn.

When the Korea Price Association surveyed the prices of 29 representative turn products for eight traditional markets nationwide, including Seoul, the cost of turning around this year was 233,750 won, an 11% increase from last year’s Lunar New Year.

The number of items with increased value also increased.

Of the 29 surveyed items, 21 items, including apples, rose, and seven items fell in price.

In particular, the cold wave that has continued since the beginning of the year caused damage to the crops, resulting in a large increase in plant prices.

The price of green onions has risen by a whopping 100% from last year, and spinach and bellflowers have also risen 32% and 8.6%.

Last year’s long rainy season and typhoons caused a sharp rise in the number of fruits that were damaged by falling.

Apples and pears, which fell in price during the Lunar New Year, rose 22.3% and 12.5% this year.

In meat, beef and pork rose 25.7% and 17.6%, respectively, compared to the New Year’s Day last year, and eggs, which continued to rise in the aftermath of avian influenza, also rose 37.6%.

The demand for home food is on the rise due to Corona 19, but it is due to a series of adverse events including poor harvest, bad weather, and livestock epidemics.

As the government has announced that it will supply 1.4 times more than usual for the 10 most popular holiday products in order to stabilize prices, the actual supply and demand conditions may improve slightly.
