Highly pathogenic avian influenza and AI occur again in a duck farm in Gurye, Jeollanam-do, and the number of domestic farm occurrences increased to 29.
The government has issued a temporary suspension order nationwide and is making every effort to block it, but it is not easily caught.

On the 25th, an additional highly pathogenic AI occurred in Gurye, Jeollanam-do, where the first infection case occurred.
It is a farm that raises 16,000 ducks, where H5 antigen was detected by the quarantine authorities before the holidays.
It was within 3 km of the first infected farm and was subject to preventive burial.
As a result, the number of highly pathogenic AI occurrences in Korea has increased to 29 cases.
The rate of spread is also unusual, especially with ten cases occurring in the last week.
Another problem is that it is widely occurring in six provinces excluding Gangwon-do, Gyeongsangnam-do and Jeju-do.
Even in areas where there is no farmhouse occurrence, tension cannot be relieved as highly pathogenic AI has been confirmed in wild birds.
The number of buried poultry is close to 10 million and is increasing rapidly.
The government issued a third nationwide temporary suspension of movement this year due to the unabated trend, but it is difficult to be optimistic about the outcome.
There are also concerns that the nightmare of 2014, one of the worst in history, will be reenacted.
Duck, chicken and egg prices are also rising.
As of the last 24 days, the price of duck origin has jumped 45.3% compared to before the outbreak of highly pathogenic AI, 6.1% for chickens and 7.6% for eggs.
