1. Unsuccessful cigarette robbery – search for witnesses – Offenbach
(fg) A stranger of stocky stature fled without prey on Tuesday evening after he had previously failed to steal a 29-year-old man’s cigarettes. On Tuesday evening, the 29-year-old from Offenbach went into a shop on Gerberstrasse and bought cigarettes there. He then left the kiosk and was immediately asked to hand over the cigarettes by a man wearing gray trousers and a black hoodie, holding a knife. However, the 29-year-old did not comply, which is why there was a physical altercation. Fortunately, the Offenbacher was not injured. The stranger ran away without his intended prey. The police are now looking for witnesses who may have observed the incident and are asking them to call 069 8098-1234.
2. Two Mazda CX-5s stolen – Offenbach
(mm) Two Mazda CX-5 SUVs with OF license plates were stolen by thieves between Tuesday at 8 p.m. and Wednesday at 3.40 p.m. The perpetrators stole one SUV in Kurhessenstrasse at number 5, the other in Dornbuschstrasse 45 to 47. The criminal police can receive information about the perpetrators or the whereabouts of the vehicles on 069 8098-1234.
3. Posters torn down – Rodgau
(mm) On Wednesday, around 10.15 p.m., a group of four to five people tore off two election posters from a street lamp on Puiseauxplatz. The perpetrators then fled, leaving the damaged posters behind. According to witnesses, the perpetrators were around 18 years old and wore dark hooded jackets. The Heusenstamm police station (06104 6908-0) or the criminal police on 069 8098-1234 will receive further information.

1. Handbag stolen from car – Maintal
(mm) A dark-clad about 1.75 meters tall thief stole the handbag of a car driver in Bischofsheim on Wednesday morning, shortly before 6 o’clock. The perpetrator took advantage of the moment when the woman unlocked her Mitsubishi, which was parked in Goethestrasse, got in and put her handbag on the passenger seat. Even before the 40-year-old left, the perpetrator tore open the passenger door, grabbed the handbag with the wallet in it and disappeared with the loot in a flash. 2. Plants torn out – Bad Soden-Salmünster
(mm) Between Wednesday, 11 p.m. and Thursday, 0.15 a.m., strangers tore a good 20 freshly planted pansies from a planting bed at the Weinstrasse / Berliner Strasse roundabout, thus causing damage to property. 3. Escape to the hospital car park – Schluechtern
(tl) After an accident escape on Wednesday evening in the public parking lot of the hospital in Kurfürstenstraße, the police in Schlüchtern are currently looking for the person who damaged a gray Ford with MKK license plates parked there between 6 and 7.10 p.m. The Kuga suffered property damage of an estimated 700 euros on the right side of the vehicle. Before the driver parked his car there in the parking space, according to his information, a black VW should already have been standing on his right, which is a possible polluter vehicle.
