After a witness reported that the driver of a white MB sprinter was driving at excessive speed and unsafe driving style from Falkensteig in the direction of Neustadt, he was stopped and checked in the Neustadt area. The 29-year-old driver was heavily drunk and was driving with an invalid short-term license plate and therefore without valid insurance cover. He had also loaded scrap metal of unknown origin. The Titisee-Neustadt police station has taken over the further investigations.
