(hol) Tobias Meier is the new head of the main press and public relations department (HSG PÖA) at the Frankfurt am Main police headquarters. He succeeds Giovanni Filpi, who held the office for three years.
“I am looking forward to the new professional challenge. The main subject area of press and public relations is a varied, exciting and versatile department that also brings with it a great deal of responsibility,” said Police Councilor Tobias Meier.
Born in Frankfurt, he will take over management on October 4th, 2021. Before that, he held a managerial position at the Hessian State Criminal Police Office. Before he successfully completed the master’s course for higher service at the German Police University in Münster-Hiltrup, he served, among other things, with a Hessian special unit.
Giovanni Filpi now heads the Regional Criminal Inspection for the Main-Taunus district. We would like to take this opportunity to thank him once again for his commitment as head of the HSG PÖA and wish him all the best for his professional and private future.
